SWACUHO offers several opportunities for members to be sponsored to attend various ACUHO-I events and to support research for the betterment of the region. Coordination of scholarships is the responsibility of the Past President. |
Scholarships
Scholarships: Financial assistance provided to SWACUHO members so that they may attend regional and national professional development events. Awarded amount is applied to conference registration only. Any exceptions must be requested to, and approved by, the SWACUHO executive board. Applicants must be first-time attendees to the event. Applications will be selected based on need and then merit. Applicants should be from a member institution.

Research & Assessment Grant To help continue investing in best practices, SWACUHO has a grant of $500 to aid in a research or assessment project being done by someone in the region. Depending on the amount requested and other applications, it is possible more than one research project could be funded. Some important points:
While not required, the recipient is encouraged to submit a program proposal related to their research for the next annual conference. |
