SWACUHO Awards NOW OPEN!

The Awards & Recognition Committee is excited to announce that the nominations for the annual SWACUHO Awards are now open. This is the opportunity to recognize and celebrate the amazing work your team, coworkers, and student leaders have done to innovate to make on-campus living the best experience for student development. Recognizing the talent and hard work of our colleagues is one small way we can show our appreciation for them.

Annual award recognition includes:

Bob Huss Outstanding Graduate Student
Diversity Award - Individual
Diversity Award - Institution
Dan Mizer Facilities Maintenance Professional of Distinction
Gene Ward Outstanding Student Leader

Frank Cloud Award of Excellence is open!

The Frank Cloud Award of Excellence is presented to member institutions for demonstrating excellence in a designated area of student housing operations. The theme for this year is “Professional Staff Recognition and Wellbeing programs”

The timeline is listed below

· Submission Deadline: October 1, 2024 @ 5:00 p.m.

· Presentation Dates: October 15 and 16, 2024 (via Zoom)

· Recipient Announced: November 1, 2024 (via email)

· Awards Recognition: February 10-12, 2025 (SWACUHO 2025 - Norman, OK)

ACUHO-I Fall Conference Scholarship Applications due July 8

Apply for the ACUHO-I Fall Conference Workshop scholarship to cover the cost of registration for the upcoming fall conference of your choice (Housing Facilities, Business Operations, Academic Initiatives).

Requirements:

Open to SWACUHO members who have NOT previously attended a fall series conference
Awarded to 1 recipient per conference (no multiple awards)
Scholarship covers paid registration directly to ACUHO-I
Awardee(s) will be notified on August 1

Deadline to apply: July 8th

Arkansas Drive-In Conference Registration Open
